New Life to Old Store - Huffman House Holiday Bazaar
Back in November the Huffman House held a Holiday Bazaar in the old Historic Huffman Store on Rte 42 in Newport, VA. The store was alive with artists, weavers, candle makers, potters and quilters. The Huffman Store closed in 1977. It was then owned by Fulton & Virginia Huffman. We (Carol & Ron Baker), owners since 2003, have always wanted to see the store open again. The weekend went very well and was enjoyed by both the vendors and the local residents. It was great to see the shelves stocked once again.
