MEADOW MUFFIN BINGO

The Huffman House will be sponsoring the MEADOW MUFFIN BINGO again this year.  This is put on by the Rich Creek-Giles Breakfast Branch Lions Club to raise money for the club.

HOW DO YOU PLAY??  The Lions club will mark off a grid on our pasture with 150 numbered squares.  We turn a horse out into the field and wait for the horse to make a 'deposit' on one of the squares! 

You purchase a ticket with one of the numbered squares on it.  If the deposit is made on your square - you win $1000!

The Sinking Creek Potters will hold their Annual Mother's Day weekend pottery sale here at the Historic Huffman House Store.  Come out and enjoy the day buying pottery and listening to Sinking Creek babble on by!  May 12 (10 AM to 5 PM) & May 13 ( noon to 4 PM).

Haflinger Horses in Southwest Virginia

Our Haflinger herd is expanding. Haflingers, an Austrian Mountain horse, are known for their flaxen manes and tails and their chestnut coloration.  They are an extremely gentle horse and love people!
